Discover Charm City -- by Bicycle or on Foot-- October 21, 2007!

Experience Baltimore as never before!

Join over a thousand cyclists and walkers in discovering the world class waterfront of Baltimore. See the city's historic neighborhoods, tall ships and important landmarks. Get some exercise and breathe in the crisp autumn air. Maybe see a big cargo ship unloading its goods from another part of the world. You never know what you'll see!

Tour du Port is one of the city's premier recreational events. Everybody who's anybody shows up! Your friends and neighbors, folks from D.C, NYC and Philly
- everybody knows that there is no better way to see our great city! This year the route travels around the Inner harbor and beautiful waterfront, as well as
through many of the city's diverse residential areas. Participation options include 10, 22 and 40 mile bicycle routes, as well as a 10K walking tour. Cue sheets
will be given out at registration.

In its fourteenth year, Tour du Port is brought to you by One Less Car - Maryland's only statewide bicycle and pedestrian advocacy group. We are working hard for more sustainable communities through better bicycling, walking and mass transit.

EVENT SCHEDULE

7:00 am - 8:30 am - On-site registration and pre-registration check-in
7:30 am - 7:45 am - Riders begin 40 mile route
7:45 am - 8:30 am - Riders begin 22 mile route
8:00 am - 8:30 am - Walkers begin 10K route
9:00 am - 9:30 am - Riders begin 10 mile family route
12:00 noon - All participants must complete their route and be off the road
10:30 am - 1:30 pm - Celebration at Harbor Point (lunch is served)

REGISTRATION:

On-line registration is now closed. Walk- in registration is available Oct 21st at Harbor Point. Walk-in registrants are NOT guaranteed event t-shirt or lunch.

Adult - Early Bird registration is $35 until October 1st, afterward $50.
Children - under 13 are $15

Tour du Port includes:

  • Fun, supported tour
  • Map and SAG/repair vehicle service during the ride
  • Refreshments at rest stops
  • Lunch and post-ride festival at Tour end
  • Colorful Tour du Port t-shirt
